The Club is an active participant in the Community Action Group which keeps close contact with the Shire Councillors. Be a part of this and Join our Lions Club. We have a lot of fun. Our 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more. Pat Howe Self Care UnitsStatus Finance We have an undertaking from Bendigo Bank for 50% of the costs. Investigation is underway for the residual funds. Land & Design We are discussing with Council the option of changing the configeration of the land, proposing to leave the Main Street block as a park for Community Use and purchasing more land along the rear. This will enable the Architect to use the advantages of North facing blocks in his designs. Immediate Activity. The Club needs to raise the residual funds of approx $1M |
